Kawhi Leonard will pass on his second game this season because of burden the board and miss a marquee matchup against ruling MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo on Wednesday night (Thursday Morning, Nigeria) when the LA Clippers face the Milwaukee Bucks.
Wednesday's down is the first of a consecutive set for the Clippers at Staples Center. Leonard is required to play against Portland on Thursday night.
The Clippers' legitimate assignment for Leonard's not playing is "damage/sickness, load the board (knee)," as per the NBA's damage report. This is the second time he will pass on a broadly broadcast game with that assignment. The Clippers are in consistence with the NBA and have been in contact with the group in the two cases, as indicated by an alliance representative.
Leonard didn't play during the Clippers' 110-96 misfortune at Utah last Wednesday, which was broadcast broadly on ESPN. The Clippers-Bucks game will be publicized on ESPN, and Thursday's down against the Blazers will be on TNT.
Leonard is averaging 29.3 points, 7.3 rebound, 5.7 asts, and 2.3 steals in six games this season.
