#TruthThursday: I Know Who I Am

Welcome to the last Thursday in the month of August. 

It's been an amazing month and I hope you were blessed. This month we spoke back to the devil and you made him shut the hell  up. If you still find yourself in web, know that Jesus loves you and you will get out.

Has someone ever told you that you're the opposite sex ?

 Like " babe you're a guy" or "guy you're a chick" and for some reason you almost went into an illusion  believing that lie. Then you quickly check some features to wake yourself to reality that "no, I am not a guy, I'm a lady"

So too you need to check and confirm your rightousness status and let the devil know that struggle doesn't define you.

One thing the devil attacks in our walk with God is the revelation of who we are. Why ? Because who we are determines what we do.

 What you did does not determine who you are.

And this declaration was not just spoken over Abraham, but also over us. For when we believe and embrace the one who brought our Lord Jesus back to life, perfect righteousness will be credited to our account as well.

Romans 4:23‭-‬24 TPT

He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!

Ephesians 2:6 TPT

Tell me any other life that promises complete forgiveness of your past present and future wrong and I'll get a million dollars. Only God guarantees that by the technology called grace.

Including those habits you struggle with, all forgiven.

It doesn't end there. We are now seated in authority with Christ in heavenly places and beneath us is everything anti-God. The devil has no power over you.

So when next this guy called devil strolls around to accuse you of wrong and condemn, you trying to make you feel worthless, you know what to say to him.

 "I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

 I'm not guilty". 

Sounds crazy? Yeh . But that's what it is. Believe it

But here's the more juicy part if Jesus overcame temptation, I can too. Because I'm a co-heir with him.

It means I am entitled to all Jesus has even money, if He spends cash.

You have put on Christ and there's no room for unhealthy desires. 

 You got signed up as a brand ambassador for heaven the day you confessed Jesus as saviour. Influencer for God's kingdom

You now represent God. That habit can't make you less of who you are.

Proof of this is that you carry the number one product of the brand; the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. And He strengthens you to overcome these temptations and habits.

Know that by the Holy Spirit you are strong enough to pull through this. You can overcome, allow the grace work in you. 

Don't let the devil steal your identity neither should you let him give you some identity.
